To resize a single image: make a single selection by clicking on a image thumbnail icon.
Click on the Resize button on the Adjustements Window:
It it possible to enter new image dimensions directly or scale the image proportionally by using the slider control.
When resizing multiple images, the following setup window will pop up:
In the multiple images resize mode, the resize dialog shows only a single constrained metric: width or height.
For example, this way it is possible to resize images to have a maximum of 800 pixels in horizontal resolution. The height of the actual image will be determined proportionally to the original height and the actual scale factor.
Here is the result of the image resize operation with a width limit of 400 pixels. Notice that height of each image is calculated proportionally to maintain the original aspect ratio.
Constrain by width or height
This switch will control the maximum side of the image, which could be width or height.
