Sample low quality image filter
With ImageRanger it is possible to setup Advanced Search with any number of search criterias.
The following short tutorial will illustrate how to create a custom filter and use it to search all folders for darker, lower quality photos.
Start by choosing File -> New Collection... from the Main Menu.
Add two filters:
- Local Contrast filter with the range 0 to 60
- Average Brightness filter with a range 0 to 30
Select grouping mode: Any condition is satisfied.
This new filter will find all images with low contrast or low brightness.
The current filter can be saved, or press OK to end the filter creation process.
The new search will be executed in the current location when clicking the OK button.
The new location can be selected any time in the Folder view area to start a new search with the same criteria and a different source location.
