To provide a quick access to your favorite folders and locations the ImageRanger can keep a collection of "bookmarks".
Each bookmark is a path on your local or remote location associated with an arbitrary name.
It is convenient to add several most frequently accessed locations into the Bookmarks panel so that after each restart the ImageRanger can quickly show it.
To add a new location, use right Mouse Click to pop a contextual menu on the screen.
The bookmarked folders are not required to be accessible and it is possible to browse the remote / disconnected storage if the files are already indexed.
