Quick Filters

Quick filter buttons are accessible in the main top area and are designed to help you reduce a set of visible files.

Once the files are collected during the main browse routine, it is possible to hide or show certain files.

Quick Content Filter

Use Content filtering to view files of specific type, such as Images, Videos, Documents, etc.

Also the Quick Content Filter is designed to help find images with certain visual characteristics of the captured content, such as big portraits, group photos, and images with or without faces.

Use Tagged Faces mode to see all images where a face was manually tagged with the correct person name (these images have face data stored in the EXIF metadata).

To see all images with automatically recognized faces, use Non Tagged Faces mode.

In the main thumbnail window the tagged faces are shown in the green rectangle and non tagged faces are surrounded with the red colored box.

Quick Location Filter ("World")

The Quick Location filter provides a list of GPS locations where currently visible files were captured.

To limit the current view to a certain location, click on "World" button and choose location from the drop down list.

For a more advanced GPS location search with possibility to specify the distance use Advanced Search functionality.

To show only images containing no associated GPS meta data, select "-no gps info-" in the drop down list.

Quick Date Filter

The Quick Date Filter can show/hide images captured at a specific date. The filter uses image metadata information (or ImageRanger index for non-image files) to determine the capture time.

When one of the following values are found in the image, the Quick Time Range filter will use them for filtering images:

EXIF:DateTimeOriginal
EXIF:DateTimeDigitized
XMP:DateCreated
XMP:CreateDate
IPTC:DigitizationDate
IPTC:DigitizationTime
IPTC:DateCreated
IPTC:TimeCreated
EXIF:DateTime

Quick People Filter

If the face recognition is properly configured using the People Panel then Quick People Filter can help in selecting images where the selected person is recognized.

For additional information check the Face Recognition topic in this guide.

Quick Keyword Filter

The Quick Keywords Filter will show only those files, which contain the entered keyword.

It is possible to enter several keywords, separated by a comma to enable the viewing of more files.

To show only files containing no associated keywords, type "-no keywords-" into the Keywords input field. This way all files containing one or more keywords would be hidden.

Quick Rating Filter

The Quick Rating Filter enables users to show/hide files with specific rating requirements.

It is convenient to select all gray stars ("-not rated-") to see files which need user rating action. Once the rating is assigned, the image will be hidden in the current view.

This process is designed to create easy and fast rating workflow.
