Image Rating View allows users to rate files based on five star rating system.
Select one or more files and choose the appropriate rating by clicking on one of the stars on the Rating View.
To clear the rating in one or more files press Clear Rating button.
The ImageRanger rating system uses EXIF metadata fields (Rating, RatingPercent) to store rating information inside the image files.
This mechanism is fully compatible with rating functionality provided by the Microsoft Windows system.
To see the image rating in Windows Explorer, use "Properties" window as shown below.
For non-image files the rating information is stored directly in the ImageRanger index database. Please note, that when moving a non-image file to another location, the rating information will be lost.
